Making the most out of SmartTools v2.0

Wednesday 25th April, 12:00 - 12:45 BST

Causeway's Infrastructure Design Suite has revolutionised the way engineers work and made businesses more profitable.

Join this webinar to find out about the significant progress made with SmartTools v2.0, our cutting-edge software tool for drainage and infrastructure design running embedded in standard Autodesk and its layered products such as AutoCAD & Civil 3D;

•  SmartSurface provides surface elevation data as spot levels and profiles to other applications in the SmartTools range. It provides seamless working across multiple surfaces, including overlapping grade-separated surfaces.

•  SmartDrainage links AutoCAD with Causeway Flow to build or amend storm and foul networks, and to annotate and draw the results of the design and analysis. The two-way workflow interacts with the plan drawing that a normal key deliverables of the design. It is designed to handle the repeated iteration that is inherent as the design evolved.

• SmartDrainage derives the layout geometry and components from the plan to provide data to Flow. It then updates the drawing with the results, annotating and adjusting the drawing as necessary.

• Longsections, schedules and BIM models auto-update when new revisions are imported

•  Each tool has a Ribbon menu to access its commands.

SmartDrainage translates a typical drawing of a drainage layout, constructed from standard AutoCAD graphic entities, into a network of nodes and links ready for Causeway Flow to design and analyse. The layout may be drawn specifically for this purpose, or may be a legacy CAD drawing.

We will deploy our innovative technology to designing an optimal and compliant drainage network whilst working embedded within AutoCAD/Civil3D.  We will showcase how and why the new features in SmartTools v2.0 will help you achieve a more robust, optimal and cost effective drainage design and streamline your workflow.

You will be able to request a CPD Certificate at the end of the webinar.
