The hidden cost of poor road markings and traffic sign design

A practical 60-minute session exploring the latest DfT announcements, how to optimise structural design for cost and carbon savings, and how adaptive tools can significantly reduce your design time.
Discover what happens when regulations tighten and how to stay ahead.
Host: Georgia Edmonds
Speakers:
-
Simon Morgan, BSI Traffic Signs Committee Chair
-
Vincent Minzer, Traffic Signing Specialist

Why proper engineering standards matter and how to optimise processes
Streamlined workflows for junction and crossing design
Latest roadmap showcase
You’ll see how the latest roadmap direction supports:
-
Clearer water quality assessment using a CIRIA C753 Simple Index approach.
-
Faster storage sizing with improved storage auto-design.
-
Better evidence of infiltration performance.
-
Safer and faster design iteration with undo/redo history.
-
Stronger design control through link type slope constraints.
-
Closer SmartTools and Flow alignment, including enhanced CAD-based editing and output control.
